Arturia Hero Video

2 Minute Hero Video. One day shoot at thChrch with one of the many artists that visit thChrch on a daily basis.  The idea is to document the creative process from the moment our artists flips the "on" switch to the final mix of his or her track.  We will spend one day allowing a handful of artists to play with the drum machine and collaborate with other artists.
Real J Wallace (Hip Hop Artist and Co-founder of thChrch) will capture the essence of the Arturia Product in a genuine and authentic way.

Part reality, Part fiction and Part sci-fi - Bits and Pieces is thChrch's first weekly series that captures the wide range of artists, musicians, characters, conversations, collaborations and community that contribute to the progress of thChrch.  The series is designed to document our growth, showcase our art, promote individual artists, business and products in a fun, genuine and authentic way.  Your sponsorship will continue the growth and production of Bits & Pieces.  In addition, your business, brand or product will be cleverly integrated into the story of Bits and Pieces.

BUILDING CHARACTER. Not only will we show the power of your product and the music and soundscapes it can produce - we will also add a sense of character to your product. In the early test pilot below, our character, Lori is a disciple of sound - sent to earth to encourage music onto those who need it.  In this clip, she sees that the viewer is in need of music, therefore, throwing the drum machine at the camera.  The last shot shows that thChrch space is breathing through color - fueled by music.

MUSIC FUELS thCHRCH. The underlying theme of Bits & Pieces is to show the power of music - music is the essence of thChrch.  Our culture and community is built on our love for all forms of music and the people who create it - with the sole purpose of creating together and building business together.  In Bits & Pieces - Music and Sound is our main character, our "Oz".  It's a mystical spirit that the characters and audience only feel but never fully see.   In addition our soundtrack showcases the latest music from our community. Imagine what it would sound like if an episode is entirely scored on Arturia's equipment.

Arturia's gear can become more than a "drum machine" or "sequencer" but a character that the audience connects with on an emotional level.

Our Lifelong Journey to Space - Space exploration is something that mankind strives for.  At some point, an artist will be in space.  We want to be the first set of musicians to produce music orbiting the planet earth and beyond.

We realize this is a long journey that may never be realized in our lifetime but we will still pursue our dream of making music in space until our last breath - for the next generation to pursue.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield already created an album of known covers in space. He is our inspiration of what is possible. However, we aim to create original music, inspired by the sounds and environment of space.

Our First Steps To Space. Our journey to space must start on Earth first.  Worldwide Wavelengths captures artists who explore the planet - from mountain tops to the depths of the ocean to various communities around the world.  The mission is to create original music - using the natural environment as a studio.  In our pilot episode, we took Beat Boxer Generik and Real J Wallace to see what it would sound like to freestyle in an abandoned dam.

Locations. We hope to travel the world to explore various environments, sub-cultures and communities and capture the experience through video and the music that is inspired by our travels. No matter the weather condition, this is a way for an artist to step outside of his studio and into parts of the world less traveled.

Arturia sparked the idea. With our BeatStep Pro Video we created for you - we encouraged artist Dayla and Real J Wallace to explore the community that thChrch lives in.  We walked around the Barrio and created original music within the under developed neighborhood - on rooftops, local tattoo shop, the park, under the bridge and in the middle of the street.  We then realized that it was the first step toward developing WorldWide Wavelengths.

Reliability. Through packing and unpacking the Beatstep Pro, we realized that durability and ease of transportation was important.  Thankfully, the Beatstep Pro plugged into our laptop, and had no problem bouncing around in our bag.  Therefore, WorldWide Wavelengths challenges manufacturers to make gear that withstands travel and the natural elements.

Production. This is an ambitious project that needs the research and development to safely travel and make music outdoors.
