Luis Adrian Lopez is an Educational Leader and Curriculum Innovator in the Sweetwater Union High School District. Through student centered, service learning solutions focused on leading and learning in the digital age, Lopez assists school leaders in embracing and effectively utilizing the power of literacy, inquiry, and belief to move schools and districts forward.

As a Social Science Teacher at Eastlake High School, Lopez oversaw the successful implementation of several sustainable change initiatives that radically transformed the learning culture at his school while increasing achievement. Eastlake High School became a globally recognized model for innovative practices under his leadership. His efforts to implement Difference Makers International “Who I Am Makes A Difference”® Blue Ribbon Training programas a mechanism for transforming teaching, learning and community engagement has led to the Difference Makers Club Program, a framework for all educators to work with students in order to initiate sustainable change and transform school cultures.

Lopez was named Eastlake High School's 2011-2012 "Teacher of the Year" and 2013-2014 "Teacher Who Cares". He is currently a Social Science Teacher at Chula Vista High School, serves on the Sweetwtaer Union High School District Ledership Team, Member of the Difference Makers Advisory Board, Co-Founder of, and Co-Founder of the Leadership Thinker Podcast.  Luis Adrian received his master’s of education in Cross Cultural Education and Educational Technology from National University, Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology and Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
